Back to zen stitches...

I've been thinking a lot lately about my life and how I spend my time. I guess the end of the year combined with a minor health scare will do that to you! Somehow 2011 managed to slip through my fingers.... Yes, it was a good year as they all are but when I sat down at the end of the year and thought about what I'd achieved, I'm ashamed to say I came up with very little.

Hubby and I did have an amazing trip to the US which we loved, but somehow in the scheme of things that doesn't feel like enough. This year I want to change my life, not just buy an overseas adventure...

First item on the agenda - a wardrobe makeover. Like many women, my wardrobe feels like a combination of two types of clothing:
 1. Old favourites that are starting to look somewhat worn out and shabby, and
 2. Things I have bought but rarely wear (or have never worn!)

Also, as I age, I'm finding that the colours and styles I used to wear no longer suit me, so I find myself facing a wardrobe crisis that actually affects the way I feel about myself.

Add to that a conscious decision to spend my money more wisely and to avoid waste - all good reasons to apply the principles of our dear departed wardrobe refashion (RIP).

So ready, set, go for a shake up in 2012!
